About Ikigara

We make clothes that hold their line — pieces that give you structure, ease, and presence at once.

The Idea — design through line, not decoration

Ikigara began with a frustration: workwear that either restricted you or looked like it gave up. We believed structure and comfort weren't opposites — they were a construction problem.

So every Ikigara piece is built through panels, wraps, and vertical lines. Shape comes from architecture, not elastane. The result is clothing that holds its form while you move freely inside it.

The Practice — small runs, sharp intent

We produce in limited batches from our studio in India. Each drop is edited hard — if a piece doesn't earn its place in a disciplined wardrobe of neutrals, it doesn't ship.

This isn't fast fashion slowed down. It's a different premise entirely: fewer, better pieces designed to be worn on repeat and kept for years.
